On 27 November 2026, the Latvian Concrete Association will bring together concrete and construction professionals, researchers, academics and industry experts for its 34th Scientific and Technical Conference “Concrete: Mistakes and Solutions”.

The conference will focus on real challenges encountered in concrete design, construction and performance. Latvian and international experts will share practical experience, analyse mistakes and their causes, and discuss solutions that can support higher quality, improved performance, and more sustainable construction.

The conference welcomes an international audience. Simultaneous Latvian–English and English–Latvian interpretation will be available throughout the event, enabling all participants to follow the complete conference program, regardless of the language of each presentation.

The conference will focus on analyzing mistakes and challenges encountered in practice, as well as identifying and preventing these issues at an early stage. It will also highlight best practices and solutions that contribute to higher quality, more sustainable, and efficient construction.
